Almost two years after its announcement, NASCAR 25 from iRacing has finally been given a release date to hit the tracks. Players on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S will be able to jump in starting October 14. PC fans will have to wait a bit longer, as the Steam launch will occur later.
A brief teaser trailer was released on Thursday, confirming the launch date and stirring excitement among racing fans who have been waiting to see what iRacing brings to console NASCAR games.
Besides the release date, iRacing plans to start revealing driver rosters next week along with their next Developer Diary. Following that, we’ll receive the official cover reveal and more detailed information leading up to the launch. It’s looking like a steady drip of content to keep high hopes high.
NASCAR 25 marks the first NASCAR console game from iRacing and the first NASCAR console title since Motorsport Games released NASCAR 21: Ignition. This new game will feature four series: the Cup Series, Xfinity, Craftsman Truck, and, for the first time ever, ARCA.
