StarLadder just announced a fresh partnership with Esports Charts for the upcoming StarLadder Budapest Major 2025. This means Esports Charts will be the official analytics partner for the second Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) Major this year.
Esports Charts will deliver live data throughout the tournament, providing a range of statistics and insights based on information collected at every stage. This should give organisers, teams, sponsors, and fans a better picture of how the event performs globally.
Viacheslav Scherbakov, Senior Sales and Operations Manager at StarLadder, shared that they’ve worked with Esports Charts since the beginning and really trust their professionalism and integrity. He’s confident this partnership will boost the quality of performance data reported to their partners.
StarLadder and Esports Charts have a history together. Back in 2019, they teamed up to provide reports and analytical data for StarLadder’s events. This collaboration is, in a way, a reunion for these two.
The Budapest Major is scheduled from November 24th to December 14th, with 32 top Counter-Strike teams battling for a $1.25 million prize pool and the Major title. Esports Charts will be the first official data partner for this event.
StarLadder’s been on a roll this year. Besides landing the big job of hosting the Budapest Major, they’ve partnered with Oddin.gg and brought back their StarSeries tournament series.
Valve, the CS2 developer, also shook up the Major’s format. Instead of StarLadder running the Major Regional Qualifiers (MRQs), Valve’s Regional Standings (VRS) will decide which teams make it to the big event. That’s a pretty big shift in how teams qualify.
Therefore, this partnership with Esports Charts may be even more important this year, given all these changes. It’ll be interesting to see how the data and insights affect how everyone watches and understands the tournament.
