I just caught the teaser for the Cyberpunk 2077 x Arena Breakout: Infinite crossover, and honestly, it got me kinda curious. Seeing V’s iconic Samurai jacket pop up in a tactical shooter setting? Didn’t expect that mashup, but it might actually work.
CD Projekt Red officially announced a crossover event with Arena Breakout: Infinite, a PC extraction shooter that’s preparing to compete with games like Escape from Tarkov. The reveal came on July 20, 2025, through a brief cinematic teaser called “Welcome to Night City, Operators.”
The trailer shows an operator stepping out of a vehicle wearing V’s Samurai jacket from Cyberpunk 2077, plus a glimpse of a Cyberpunk-styled car. No gameplay was shown yet, but it’s expected that players will get access to cosmetics and some iconic weapons from Cyberpunk’s universe.
Cyberpunk’s official social media account confirmed the crossover shortly after the teaser dropped, captioning it: “Welcome to Night City, Operators! Cyberpunk 2077 x Arena Breakout: Infinite is coming soon!”
This follows the closed beta launch of Arena Breakout: Infinite, which gave players a taste of its extraction-based gameplay and what to expect when it fully releases out of early access.
Meanwhile, Cyberpunk 2077 has been busy with other announcements, including the production of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Season 2 and the release of update 2.3, which introduced vehicle upgrades and improvements to photo mode. Plus, CD Projekt Red continues work on the sequel, Project Orion.

You’ll probably love this crossover if you’re into both Cyberpunk’s world and tactical shooters. Honestly, I can’t believe the mix, but it’s kinda interesting to see how they’ll mesh the styles.
