Battlefield 6 might be revealed during a three-day event hosted by EA starting on July 29th, according to a rumor shared by RivaLxfactor on X. The event is said to include developer interviews, gameplay from content creators, and more.
This so-called ‘EV Event’ could feature multiple EA games, not just Battlefield 6, similar to previous EA Play events around E3. However, that part remains speculation for now.
The claim follows a recent leak of a promotional care package sent to a creator, confirming the title Battlefield 6. The package included straps highlighting three game modes, ‘Conquest’, ‘Rush’, and ‘Breakthrough’, plus the phrase ‘PTFO’, shorthand for ‘Play The Fking Objective’.
Details about the event itself are still unclear. The promotional packages might contain merchandise and invitations intended to build high hopes. It’s expected that the reveal will focus on multiplayer gameplay, while the free-to-play Battle Royale mode might be shown later.
Battlefield 6 is expected to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and PC later this year.
Here’s the original tweet from RivaLxfactor:
I have confirmed with another person that there is indeed a 3 day EA event starting on July 29th.
This is where Battlefield 6 will be revealed, devs will be interviewed in a somewhat fixed format, and the game will be featured with content creators.
The open beta will launch… https://t.co/OmLRH3Gg3Z
