Wuchang: Fallen Feathers PC Specs Might Push You to Upgrade

The PC specs for Wuchang: Fallen Feathers just landed ahead of its release next week, and honestly, they might surprise you. If you built your rig in the latter half of 2024, you could be in for some upgrading headaches. Let’s break down what you’ll need to run this Souls-like RPG from Leenzee Games.

The game isn’t exactly lightweight. It requires a significant amount of your system’s resources, especially if you want to achieve the recommended settings. Memory is a significant factor here — 16 GB RAM is the baseline, but having dual-channel memory and ideally 32 GB will definitely help keep things smooth. I was kinda shocked by that, honestly!

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers PC Requirements Might Force You To Upgrade

Here’s the official rundown from publisher 505 Games:

Specification Minimum Recommended
OS Windows 10 64-bit Windows 10/11 64-bit
Processor Intel Core i5-8400 / AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Intel Core i7-9700 / AMD Ryzen 5 5500
Memory 16 GB RAM (dual channel recommended) 16 GB RAM (dual channel recommended)
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB / AMD Radeon RX 580 8GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 / AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT / Intel Arc A750
DirectX Version 12 Version 12
Storage 60 GB available space 60 GB available space
Additional Notes HDD Supported, SSD Recommended. Tested with DLSS/FSR enabled. SSD Required. Tested with DLSS/FSR enabled.

Considering that, the GPU and CPU demands are quite steep if you want the recommended experience. I mean, an RTX 2070 or AMD RX 5700 XT isn’t exactly entry-level gear. And SSD is a must for recommended settings, which kinda makes me wonder if loading times will be brutal otherwise.

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is a Souls-like set in the late Ming Dynasty’s chaotic land of Shu, developed by Chinese studio Leenzee Games and published by 505 Games. It promises a mix of dark history, monstrous creatures, and intense combat. Xbox and PC players will get to try it via Game Pass, which is a nice bonus if you’re unsure about diving in right away.

What do you think about these requirements? Are you ready to upgrade your PC, or is this gonna hold you back from playing?
