Grounded 2 is preparing to welcome players back to the miniaturized world of Brookhollow with its Game Preview release on July 29, 2025. Available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC, Xbox Cloud, and Steam Early Access, the game will also launch with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass support, allowing cross-save play across devices at no extra cost.
The sequel expands the world, introducing larger challenges and more formidable bugs. Players will be able to look at the park with new mounts called Buggies, craft weapons, build bases, and uncover mysteries lurking beneath the lively environment. The game supports solo and cooperative play, encouraging teamwork for survival.
There’s a special edition called the Minotaurs, Myrmidons, and Mants: Oh My! Founder’s Edition available at launch. It bundles the base game with four premium character skins—each with custom emotes, including the Minotaur, Myrmidon, Rogue, and Mant. This edition also includes a digital artbook and soundtrack titled ONYX-PRO, Inside the Game, which will receive updates throughout the Game Preview and Early Access period. Plus, a decorative Tool Effigies set called Tools of Yore is included as a gift for all players, regardless of edition.
Accessibility remains a priority, with features such as Arachnophobia Safe Mode, Read to Me narration, colorblind options, subtitle customization, adjustable reticles, and flexible controls available from the start. The game will launch with several localized languages, including English, French, Castilian Spanish, German, Italian, Latin American Spanish, and Simplified Chinese, with plans to add more based on community feedback.
The Standard Edition will be priced at $29.99 USD during this period, while the Founder’s Edition will cost $39.99 USD. Players can also upgrade to the Founder’s Pack for $10.00 USD to access the additional cosmetic content without repurchasing the full game.
Grounded 2 promises a larger and more detailed environment to survive in, with an underlying mystery unfolding throughout the players’ journey. Are you ready to shrink down again and face the challenges that await in Brookhollow? It’s a world that’s meant to grow with player input, so your feedback will be key.
Don’t forget to join the official Discord community to share your base designs, bug encounters, and stories from your time in the park. It’s a great way to stay connected with other players and the developers throughout this early phase.
The countdown is on. Will you be diving into this tiny, oversized world on day one? What do you think about the new accessibility options and the Founder’s Edition content? I’m curious to hear your thoughts below.
