Warzone Season 4 Reloaded Brings Big Weapon Changes and Resurgence Ranked Play Returns

New weapons, mode tweaks, and major balancing shakeups arrive in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded.

Warzone Season 4 Reloaded just landed with a bunch of updates that are shaking up how you’ll play on Rebirth Island and beyond. From weapon balancing to a fresh Ranked Play format, plus new gear and a wild limited-time mode, there’s a lot to unpack here.

The update tweaks some fan-favorite guns, like nerfing the Krig C, which dominated long-range battles, while buffing others such as the BAS-P and VEL 46. The short-range meta still leans on the C9, but these changes might shuffle that around a bit. Plus, the return of Resurgence Ranked Play on Rebirth Island brings a fresh take on scoring that rewards teamwork more than just individual kills. No more death penalties either, so you can be aggressive without worrying about losing rank points.

Patch Notes Highlights

Verdanask Updates

  • Train
    • Buy Station added to the train
    • UAV Tower added (disabled in Battle Royale Ranked)

Havoc Royale Mode

  • 44 players in quads
  • 15-minute matches with rotating modifiers like Charge Jump, Cranked, and Melon Heads
  • Finale Modifiers include Showdown with identical loadouts and Rising Gas forcing vertical movement

Resurgence Casual

  • 12 players + 32 bots for a more relaxed experience
  • Matches don’t affect stats or Ranked Play eligibility

Ranked Play Resurgence

  • Trios, 45 players on Rebirth Island
  • Team-based SR system rewarding squad kills and placement
  • Death SR fee removed
  • Ranked mode restrictions on certain contracts and equipment
  • Shared rewards with Battle Royale Ranked

Loot & Economy

  • New Season 4 weapons available as ground loot
  • Care Package updated with rare items like Hand Cannon, Door Barricade, and Self-Revive
  • Updated lootable perks in Resurgence and Plunder including Loot Master

Contracts

  • Most Wanted contracts now spawn after the first circle and pay double for kills

Perk Adjustments

  • Loot Master: More items from supply caches and better chances for high-tier gear
  • Reactive Armor now regenerates fully over ~35 seconds
  • Tracker’s marked target count and durations reduced
  • Grenadier deploys equipment faster and reduces health regen delay
  • Bomb Squad damage reduction increased and applies to self-damage
  • Restock equipment regen time increased
  • Scavenger cash drop decreased
  • Reflexes explosive delay slightly increased

New Weapons

  • Olympia Shotgun: Double-barrel, high damage, decent range but needs frequent reloads
  • Pickaxe Melee: One-hit kill, medium speed, short range

New Weapon Attachments

  • SVD Full Auto Mod: Converts SVD to full-auto with faster fire rate but stronger recoil, blocks many attachments
  • TR2 CQB Auto Conversion: Fully automatic with fast fire rate that slows, better handling but reduced damage range

Weapon Balancing

The Krig C damage range nerf opens the door for other weapons to shine long-range, while short-range guns like the BAS-P, Vaznev-9K, and VEL 46 got buffs that might disrupt the meta. The C9 still looks strong but might not be the only go-to now.
