Nintendo Switch 2 Launch Strategy Goes Like This…

With the Nintendo Switch 2’s official reveal just a week away, excitement is swirling in the gaming community. During this year’s GDC, discussions centered around the console’s expected launch date, which sources suggest is June.

The launch strategy for the Nintendo Switch 2 will consist of a three-phase rollout for its games. The first phase will focus primarily on first-party titles at launch.

The second phase is expected between October and November, allowing third-party studios to bring their games into the mix. Most developers are reportedly hoping to receive their dev kits by June. Lastly, a third phase during the holiday season will expand the library available on the console.

In conjunction with these plans, Insider Gaming has learned that select media and creators will have hands-on access to the Nintendo Switch 2 next week. This event promises a few hours with the console and some of its launch titles. The full unveiling of the Nintendo Switch 2 is scheduled for April 2nd. In addition to hardware details, fans can expect information about game releases and pricing during this event.
