Exciting news for fans of the Azure Striker Gunvolt series! Inti Creates has just revealed the Azure Striker Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced, set to launch on July 24 for both the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. This collection promises to combine all three titles in a polished format, making it an enticing option for those who love action-packed side-scrolling adventures.

The trilogy includes updated versions of Azure Striker Gunvolt, Azure Striker Gunvolt 2, and Azure Striker Gunvolt 3. Players can grab a physical or digital copy in Japan for 5,940 yen. For collectors, a special 10th Anniversary Complete Box is also available for 16,280 yen, packed with additional goodies.

The Complete Box is particularly appealing as it includes:

  • A copy of the game
  • Azure Striker Gunvolt Series Official Complete Works – An A4-size art book featuring content from all three games.
  • It is a six-disc complete soundtrack with every track from the trilogy.
  • A one-disc CD album featuring previously unreleased music.
  • A B2-sized tapestry showcasing exclusive artwork by series illustrator Yoshitaka Hatakeyama.
  • Pre-orders for any physical edition will include an A4-size transparent file.

This release combines classic side-scrolling action with deep storytelling that unfolds through “Live Novel” dialog during missions. The trilogy features full voiceover (in Japanese only for the first two titles) and 37 vocal tracks performed by the Muses. It’s wonderful to see how Inti Creates has renewed all three titles, polishing gameplay mechanics and updating music to create what they describe as the most complete version of this beloved series.

If you’re curious about how these enhancements look in action, be sure to check out the announcement trailer below:

I’m excited about this release and can’t wait to see how players respond. Will you be picking up this enhanced trilogy? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
