Nintendo Switch Has Sold 10 Million Units Worldwide, Will Outsell Wii U Shortly

The fastest blockbuster becoming gaming platform which was also one of the most wanted during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Nintendo Switch, has just surpassed 10 million sells worldwide. No one would have ever thought that Nintendo will get this milestone, ever.

After almost ten months since its launch, the Nintendo Switch has successfully outsold other consoles from the same company. Roughly estimated, it has already outsold the Nintendo Wii U, if calculated since their release date.

After a successful Black Friday and Cyber Monday without any discount, the Nintendo Switch is roughly the first console that has managed to achieve that. Imagine what would’ve happened if there was any. This milestone has been confirmed on NintedoAmerica’s Twitter profile. They have tweeted that Nintendo Switch has sold 10 million units worldwide. Below you can find their tweet.

I cannot reckon any console of this type achieving a similar milestone in that short period. Congrats to Nintendo for their achievement and hopefully, this will lead to a more competitive development in 2018.
