The latest update for Once Human, version 1.4.2, is here, and it’s packed with some cool changes that are sure to spice up your gaming experience! Let’s break it down, shall we?
Optimized main story tasks for the Manibus and Evolution’s Call scenarios
This update has optimized the main story tasks, mainly focusing on the Manibus and Evolution’s Call scenarios. If you’ve been grinding through these quests, you’ll appreciate the smoother flow!
New feature: Nova Deviation
One of the standout additions is the new Nova Deviation feature. After taking down the Monolith Great One in a main story task, you’ll score a Nova Deviation item! What can you do with it? Well, you can purify this item at the Territory Terminal to unlock fresh Memetics or other abilities. How awesome is that?
But wait, there’s more! By collecting and purifying all the Nova Deviations, you can activate the Staroid Matrix. This nifty feature will continuously generate Staroid for you, plus in the Evolution’s Call scenario, it yields Warband Credit too! Talk about a win-win!
The developers have made things even more exciting by removing the “Unlock Rift Anchor” step from the main story task. Now you can challenge that Great One without any restrictions! Plus, they’ve transformed the “Klein Maze” section of the “Tall Grass Inn” task into a side story task, which really opens up your options.
The rewards in the main story task have also seen an increase! They’ve streamlined the tutorial and trimmed some of those lengthy task steps to make your adventures in Nalcott feel even more exhilarating.
Since the launch, the team has been closely monitoring player feedback and is dedicated to making fixes and optimizations based on what you’ve shared. If you have more questions or suggestions, don’t hesitate to reach out!
