GZW Patch 0.2.2.0 just dropped, and it’s packed with changes that could shake things up in your next gaming session. From AI tweaks to some highly requested bug fixes, the developers are listening to what the community wants.
Let’s talk about what this means for you. First off, there’s a new option to pick your input device! This is pretty handy if you switch between controllers or keyboards. No more fumbling around trying to get your settings right mid-game.

- Fixed persistent flashlight effect during specific animations and emotes
- Fixed a rare issue where characters could go out of sync under specific circumstances after exiting the coma
- Reduced the excessive head bobbing while sprinting with the knife
- Fixed a rare glitch in animation when switching between the primary and secondary weapons
- Fixed a rare issue that caused players to shake after getting off the helicopter
Audio Fixes
- Fixed a rare issue that caused the sound to cut out after a player joined the leader’s squad
- Fixed a voice-over line to include the radio effect
- Tweaked the falloff of the starter town speaker volume when moving away from them
- Fixed an issue that caused the game audio to disappear after relaunching the game after a crash

- Fixed an issue that caused the helmet icon to malfunction when an NVG mount was attached
- Fixed the canting animation when using a large scope so as not to block the laser dot
- Fixed the Colt 1911 safety switch, which moved after performing the weapon check action

- Fixed a rare issue that might cause the Mossberg 590 to reload infinitely
- Fixed an issue causing the Pilad Brevis scope to spawn in the air

- Fixed an infinite loading screen when players connected to a server running under the maintenance mode
- Players can no longer claim task rewards from chat outside of the base camp
- Changed the naming for Recoil reduction to Muzzle Device Efficiency to clarify the stat
- Change: If a player is kicked out for inactivity, the character remains in the game for the standard reconnection period. After the reconnection period expires, the character is removed and will respawn in the base camp the next time they connect
