VR this, VR that, everything goes VR nowadays. Well, that does not stop here. Overkill has officially announced their first Beta Period of Payday 2 VR. If there’s any chance to make Heisting more exciting, VR is the way to go.
How to participate? All you need to do is own a copy of Payday 2 and a HTC VIVE VR headset to enjoy Payday 2 In Virtual Reality. The game is free to all Payday 2 Owners. If you cannot get the beta, then you make sure you do the following:
- Go to Steam’s Library
- Right Click Payday 2 and select properties
- Click on the beta tab
- Select “open_vr_beta” on the drop down menu
- Wait for the game to Update and launch.
As a celebration of the Payday 2 VR Beta period, Overkill has also published a small trailer who shows a piece of the action. The full release is scheduled to occur in 2018.
