We all know that Denuvo’s security or piracy prevention technology usually breaks our CPU, therefore making it choke when playing our favorite video game. That’s why it’s always good to read whenever a game company decides to remove Denuvo’s Anti-Tamper technology. Volition has done this in their game Agents of Mayhem, which came kind of late after the initial copy sales went through.
We are certain the removal came on purpose, but we cannot claim that it had any meaning. But most certain is that Agents of Mayhem players will have an improved performance after this patch. It is also a reason why we think that not a single company should support Denuvo’s existance, putting aside that they’re also hiring them to defend their game from piracy in the early stages after the official release occurs.
If you remember, we’ve been speaking about AC: Origins Denuvo’s Impact on the game’s performance. It makes it run bad, makes it stutter from time to time, and for some reason, Ubisoft supports Denuvo’s services completely. They have even found a way to make it harder for crackers to pirate it since they have added their own layer of security by using VMProtect over Denuvo’s Anti-Tamper tech which actually causes even bigger complications. But hey, it may be the best way to see VMProtect defending Denuvo’s Anti-Tamper technology.
However, back to the subject, Agents of Mayhem should and will have an improved performance as we already know the outcome.
