2025 Season 1 Patch 1 Release Notes [2025.01.08.01]
This is a Patch Release, containing updates, improvements, and fixes for the 2025 Season 1 Release.
- Simulation
– Anti-Cheat: Updated the “InstallEOSAntiCheat.bat” script file so that it can be correctly run using right-click > “Run as Administrator”. The script will now also pause at the end so you can see its messaging.– Weather: Fixed an issue where participants joining a Session after it had been initialized could have slightly different track surface water heights in some areas of the track. Differences were minimal, but it could be noticeable when joining an event with a drying track state.
– Dynamic Track Model: For the debris system, adjusted parameters for vehicle bodies picking up debris, including better accounting for smaller body shapes, pickups being scaled by speed, and implementing a maximum amount of debris for vehicle bodies depending on chassis size.
– Improved ability for debris to adhere and shed from vehicle bodies.
– Updated algorithms for flinging debris.
– Improved calculations for generating gravel dust by tires.
– Normalized color for gravel dust to improve its overall tone in all environments.
– Dirt Racing: For Dirt Oval Racing, apron areas should now be a bit rougher to drive on.
– AI Racing: Fixed an issue where AI Vehicles could lose support MGUK-only driving if the host leaves the Session.
– Audio: Support added to XAudio to allow single channel audio hardware, including many Bluetooth headsets. Increased number of sounds that can be loaded by Simulation providing greater support for third-party sound packs. Fixed an issue where volume selected via user interface was not saved to “app.ini” file.
– Pit Lane: Auto Fuel will not enable itself if a pitstop is in progress fixing an issue where it was briefly enabling itself and modifying fuel fill values during driver swaps in team racing.
– Spotter/Crew Chief:The Italian Spotter Pack for Renzo A. Olivieri has been updated. Fixed grammatical error with spotter message regarding major engine power loss.
– Active Reset: Fixed error tracking detached car parts while resetting; hanging and detached car parts should now restore correctly.
