The latest update for Gray Zone Warfare has just dropped, and it’s packed with some necessary tweaks. The public-experimental branch is now live with Hotfix 0.2.0.2, allowing players to jump in and help test these changes while fresh out of the oven.
Hotfix 0.2.0.2 Key Changes:
- AI Improvements: AI Aim and Aggro Rebalancing
- AI Tweaks in Starter Towns: The AI difficulty in starter towns has been reduced to better align with their role as onboarding areas, helping new players learn the mechanics more easily.
- Accuracy Fix for Players: Zeroing should now work correctly after switching it and ADSing again.
- UI Crash Fix: Messenger should no longer cause network issues.
If you’ve ever found yourself frustrated by an overzealous AI or struggling to get your shots lined up just right, this hotfix might be your saving grace. I remember my first run-in with a particularly aggressive NPC, let’s just say it ended with me staring at the respawn screen more times than I care to admit.
Those eager to dive into this testing phase can find specific steps for participating through the following LINK TO THE FEEDBACK FORM. This playtest will run throughout the weekend, so strap on your gear and prepare for serious warfare.
