Hi everyone! I’m thrilled to share the latest updates for Unrailed 2: Back on Track, which has received some delightful tweaks that enhance gameplay. From crucial bug fixes to balance adjustments, there’s much to unpack in this patch.
What’s New?
This time around, alongside general improvements, we’ve got some milk and versus-related fixes that should help streamline your experience. Most glitches seem to have been tackled, allowing us to clear the high scores and introduce new categories for different engines. - Crash fix: Resolved crash issues when the train collides with a frog attached.
- Bug fix: Addressed an issue where tools could disappear if no valid respawn point was found.
- Bug fix: Fixed instances of frogs appearing invisible.
- Bug fix: Restored missing frog plungers when attached to milk wagons.
- Memory leak fixes: These changes might improve DX12 stability and restore missing destruction particles during longer runs.
- Canyon boss update: The boss won’t block paths anymore when revisited multiple times.
- Simplified speed rewards: Slot stations will only show speed rewards once the train is fast enough.
- Lava blobs and crabs follow milk wagons now!
- Bugs fixed within shops: Lost cartridges are less likely when saving games in shops now.
- Tweaked balances:– Active bombs will be cleared upon entering a shop in versus mode.
– Magnet and collector can no longer access opposing teams’ maps.
– The second visit to a biome starts at lower speeds while extending bosses’ appearances by three stations each visit.
– Best of three or five games will conclude earlier if one team can’t secure a win anymore!
