Swordfighter Blade Symphony Goes Free to Play in 2018

Powered by Source Engine, Blade Symphony will become a free to play game in 2018. Puny Human has announced this a while ago, adding the free tag before the official launch occurs. Puny Human targets to launch the game by the end of January 2018, with an improved engine.

According to the press, Blade Symphony is using Portal 2’s version of Source Engine, but it should transfer to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive’s engine. The game will be available on both Match and Linux.

Puny Human also introduce a new level system to the game, where players will get XP points. As they move further in the game, they will be able to unlock special items, cosmetics, etc. All of the unlocks will be based on their level, which gives a portion of satisfaction directly into player’s hands.

1v1 or 2v2, it doesn’t matter. Individual play is what gains XP mostly in the game, so players will need to have the needed skill to dominate the match and out sword their opponent.
