NVIDIA has released its latest Game Ready Driver, version 561.09, and it’s all about improving the experience of big games like FINAL FANTASY XVI and God of War Ragnarök. If you’re playing either of these games, especially with DLSS 3 tech, you’re in for a treat with optimized performance. If you’re preparing to jump into EA SPORTS FC 25 or Frostpunk 2, this driver has got you covered, too!
Now, on to what’s fixed. Surprisingly, there aren’t any specific gaming bugs listed this time around, but they did squash a few general ones that were annoying users:
- GeForce Experience’s Performance Monitoring: Some folks noticed the overlay wasn’t refreshing GPU info properly. Well, that’s been fixed.
- NVIDIA App Game Filters: Occasionally, game filters would disappear when bringing up the NVIDIA overlay in-game. That’s sorted too.
- Chaos V-Ray: Some performance drops were spotted when using R560 drivers, and NVIDIA’s got that issue handled as well.
