Gray Zone Warfare (GZW), a game that started strong and then fell-off big time, is now getting all the focus because of its upcoming Day/Night cycle. The latest reveal from Madfinger Games highlights more details about the new day/night cycle and the new gear and equipment coming with it.
I have to say, the introduction of the day/night cycle in GZW will be huge! Having Nightfall in the game will be so cool, especially because of tools like night vision goggles, flashlights, and tactical lasers. So, prepare, because the darkness might be both your best friend and worst enemy very soon.
A Video Tease of What’s to Come
In a recent video, the developers gave players more details about the Day/Night cycle coming to the game. As darkness falls, players will have to rely on their gear to mush through the the croak of frogs and the hum of mosquitoes. The visuals seem to be stunning, and with the dynamic lighting, it makes the game atmosphere feel special.
The video can be found just below:
Alongside the cycle, new equipment such as night vision goggles and lasers will provide players with the edge they need to survive night-time raids. The challenge of low visibility will push players to use flashlights and lasers too, which in turn can be easily seen by other players, especially the rats that wanna hug corners or act like bush wookies.
This will definitely bring new mechanics and insane encounters, where ambushes and stealth tactics will be possible. It’s going to be amazing… and yes, GZW is definitely evolving. Also, please don’t try to compare this game to Escape From Tarkov, because it’s nothing close to it.
