Earlier today, I wrote an article about the upcoming Escape From Tarkov wipe. Well, just now, Escape From Tarkov went down completely and it just won’t boot up, despite the fact that, apparently, some players have access to the game. I guess it had to be done, and I do believe that there’s something brewing in the background. I honestly cannot take Battlestate Games seriously right now, simply because we’re in a wipe period anyhow.
So, here’s what’s going on from multiple perspectives.
- Some people cannot even log in to Escape From Tarkov
- Some other players are able to play the game but have no items whatsoever. Basically a reset account.
- Other players have all their stash gone and even the account data, which seems to show that they have no playtime inside the game.
This is what Battlestate Games said on their X profile:
As a result of a technical malfunction there was a loss of part of the game profiles data. It is not possible to restore profiles in a short period of time.
All players whose profiles have been affected will receive proportional in-game compensation in a short period of time.…

The developer has stated that there has been a compensation, even though I hardly believed that there’s a wipe coming soon.
The in-game compensation has been sent to all the players whose in-game profiles have been lost due to technical malfuction.#EscapefromTarkov
