We’ve got some pretty awesome news straight from the gaming streets. You remember that leak floating around about Mafia: Definitive Edition coming to Game Pass? Well, it’s not just a rumor anymore. Microsoft has officially dropped the bombshell: Hangar 13 and 2K’s top-tier 2020 remake is making its way to Game Pass on August 13. Yep, that’s right – you’ll be able to jump into this mobster classic on your console, PC, and even through the cloud.
For those who somehow missed it, Mafia: Definitive Edition isn’t just a fancy remaster. This is a complete, ground-up remake of the OG Mafia game. We’re talking revamped graphics, updated gameplay mechanics and a storyline. You’ll be taking on the role of Tommy Angelo, a regular cabbie dragged into the Salieri crime family’s dark and dangerous world in the fictional city of Lost Heaven, Illinois.
Those same leaks are hinting that Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy might be joining Mafia on Game Pass in August. How wild would that be? Although Microsoft hasn’t confirmed Crash just yet, the prospect of adding another iconic series to Game Pass is enough to get any gamer hyped. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for any updates on that front.
