We’ve got some exciting feature coming to Escape From Tarkov. Over on X, Nikita Buyanov revealed that a smooth variable zoom feature is in the works. The COO revealed what appears to be a Voodoo scope, zooming in and out smoothly.
If you’re like me, you’ve probably struggled with the current scopes in EFT, as the transition between zoom levels can be clunky. Having Variable Zoom implemented, the feature will also add to the realism that Escape From Tarkov already has. You can find the video posted by Nikita below:

As someone who spends countless hours in Tarkov, I can’t stress enough how huge would this be for the Tarkov universe. I mean, after the competition introduced by ABI, the survival shooter game similar to Tarkov, I estimated that we’re about to see a lot of quality-of-life changes coming to Escape From Tarkov, and that’s exactly what we’re seeing recently.
As for the lead developers, including Nikita, they’ve become so active on Twitter, that is somewhat encouraging for the whole EFT player base. Aside from the Variable zooms coming to EFT, god knows what else will be there soon.
Yea more things to big out in the game just what we wanted lmfao what a joke just like vaulting caused people to jump out windows or off tops of building in reserve for no reason kinda lame they can’t even get their servers to work half the time so add more issues
