Finals Update 2.10.4 just got released, and it brings new and crucial bug fixes that address some pretty annoying issues from the last update.
One of the most frustrating bugs was the aim to assist in tracking enemies through walls and other objects. Yeah, you heard that right. Imagine trying to play a competitive shooter and dealing with aim assist that can see through walls. Thankfully, the devs fixed that, so there is no more magical wall-tracking. They also reverted the change, which removed directional weapon binding for controllers. This is a big win if you’re like me and you love your controller.
As for the UI fixes, enemy health bars sticking around on your screen longer than your last hot streak? Not anymore. They were also visible through walls and terrain, which was just a mess. Plus, there was this weird issue where you couldn’t track your contracts in the rookie, challenger, pro, and master circuits. What was also mentioned is that those of you who got that incorrect message about account restrictions has been cleared up too.
Furthermore, this exploit was where animation canceling let you fire certain weapons, like the FAMAS, Throwing Knives, and R93, at fast rates. Honestly, it was like turning your weapon into a machine gun. That’s been patched, so the game’s balance should feel a lot more stable now. You can find the full list of patch notes below:
