Boy o, boy, Blizzard has just dropped their latest update and season, Loot Reborn, which I definitely loved playing so far. I do not know how you’re seeing this, as a review or not, but this time around Diablo 4 really does matter. It seems that Blizzard has listened to the fans, and the outcome is pretty much glorious… at least so far.
First off, let’s talk about Tempering. This new mechanic lets you customize your gear with affixes that suit your playstyle. Want more damage? Go for it. Need better resource generation? You got it. There’s a limit to how much you can Temper an item, but don’t worry, Masterworking is here to save the day. This feature boosts all your Tempered affixes and allows you to massively upgrade one of them every four tiers. Plus, no more worrying about failed Masterworking attempts, thanks to the feedback from last month’s PTR test.
Now, the Codex of Power has been revamped, making it easier to manage your Aspects. This is a big win for those of us who like to min-max our builds. For all the end-game lovers, we have The Pit of Artificers, which is a test of skill and juicy rewards. And speaking of end-game, Helltides have been revamped too, so prepare for more fun and much more challenging experiences as you take on these infernal events. With the new Uniques and Legendary Aspects, it’s already more fun.
And for those of you itching for more content, mark your calendars for Vessel of Hatred. Blizzard has promised more details to come this summer, so stay tuned.
