A new artwork for Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Shadows has leaked online. As per the known leaker, these are the two main characters that will be available in the game, and players will get the opportunity to either choose a samurai or a shinobi.
This leak comes after a list of accidental disclosures by Ubisoft, which contained the game’s release date and Season Pass details before the official cinematic trailer premiere. The latest artwork offers just a small shimmer of view of the two protagonists. As per the revealed images by a known Rainbow Six Siege leaker, Ubisoft_Frax, confirming the speculations about the game’s two main characters, a male samurai and a female shinobi. The leaked artwork can be found below:

I remember when the first rumors surfaced last March about the dual protagonists in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. The male samurai is apparently an African refugee which is about to add something new to the game. Meanwhile, the female shinobi appears to have joined the Assassin Brotherhood. However, the iconic hidden blade is not to be seen on any of them.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is expected to remain true to its open-world action RPG roots but will reportedly incorporate heavy stealth mechanics similar to Hitman and Splinter Cell. This seems to be a perfect fit for the Shinobi character, though I’m curious to see how combat will be balanced for both protagonists.
