In addition to the standard retail release, Sabotage Studio and iam8bit have also rolled out the Exclusive Edition of “Sea of Stars. This special package includes a game manual and a collectable slipcase and also features a unique poster, an expansive game map, and a digital download of the soundtrack accompanied by 16 character stickers. As this edition began shipping earlier this week, fans still have a chance to grab theirs via iam8bit.com, specifically for PlayStation and Xbox owners.
The collaboration between iam8bit and the studios extends with the upcoming release of the “Sea of Stars” 2xLP vinyl. It is scheduled for shipping in the third quarter of 2024, and will feature tracks from composers Eric W. Brown and Yasunori Mitsuda. Vinyl purchasers will be granted a digital download code for the entire soundtrack, which is something true fans would acquire.
