Released in 2022 on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, God of War Ragnarök managed to sell 5.1 million sales in its debut week. The game then reached 11 million within ten weeks becoming Sony’s fastest-selling first-party title ever. As of November 2023, the game has sold a staggering 15 million copies.
A free DLC expansion, God of War Ragnarök: Valhalla, released last December, brought a replayable roguelike-inspired adventure that acted as an epilogue to the main game, blending God of War‘s signature combat with fresh elements.
As a fan of the series I am really excited about the PC series. Having followed Kratos’ journey since his debut on the PS2 I find it fulfilling that PC players might finally experience the amazing story of a father and son. Furthermore, the PlayStation Showcase which is rumored to be scheduled for later this month might also feature Silent Hill 2.
