It’s always exciting to taste the blend of prehistoric beasts and park management, which is somewhat mandatory, bringing together the nostalgia of the Jurassic Park franchise and the challenge of running a theme park filled with dinosaurs. When I heard that Frontier Developments is making a third Jurassic World game, I just had to write about it.
Frontier released the first Jurassic World Evolution back in 2018, followed by the sequel, Jurassic World Evolution 2. Now, they’ve officially announced that they’re working on a third game, which is going to launch during their financial year 2026 between June 1, 2025 and May 31, 2026. Although they haven’t confirmed whether this third entry will carry the Evolution title, it will definitely be a management game like its predecessors.
We are delighted to reveal that we are developing a third Jurassic World game to extend our collaborative relationship with Universal Products & Experiences for our best-selling game franchise. Our Jurassic World Evolution game franchise has showcased great creative and technical expertise in CMS games and the strength of our select, develop, launch, and nurture strategy in the genre. I very much look forward to providing more information on our exciting plans for the franchise in the future. – said the COO, Jonny.

Jurassic World Evolution and Jurassic World Evolution 2 rank first and second respectively within Frontier’s game portfolio in terms revenue generated in their first two years, with Jurassic World Evolution being Frontier’s best-selling game to date since its release almost six years ago.
Over the last twelve months Frontier has refined its strategy to focus on its leading position in the creative management simulation (‘CMS’) genre, with four successful titles already in its portfolio; Planet Coaster, Planet Zoo, and the first two Jurassic World Evolution games. Over the next three consecutive financial years, Frontier plans to release one new CMS game per year; the development of the unannounced own-IP CMS game for FY25 is on track and Frontier expects to announce the title in the coming months; the third Jurassic World game confirmed today is scheduled for FY26; and a third unannounced CMS game is planned for FY27.
