Moments ago, Capcom announced that Dragon’s Dogma 2, the RPG adventure game, has sold over 2.5 million units worldwide. This not only speaks for the whole series but also for the game itself, which has definitely deserved this kind of achievement. The announcement arrived from the official X profile and Capcom’s website.
Recently, I’ve been playing Dragon’s Dogma 2 a lot, and as I said here, despite messing up with the first save file, starting anew still kept me engaged and entertained. With that said, this game truly offers something else, with a fantasy world and outstanding creatures with different mechanics and outcomes.
Since its arrival in 2012, and 10 years after the original release, the Dragon’s Dogma franchise has garnered over 10 million cumulative sales. Before Dragon’s Dogma 2 released, Capcom tried to engage the player base by releasing a character creation app, which allowed players to create their favorite character and get ready for the game.
As a celebration of this success, the developer posted on X, saying that more updates are coming to the game in the near future. But what’s even more exciting is that a DLC might be around the corner too.
