The free-to-play platform fighter that we’ve all been waiting for will make a comeback soon! Today, it was announced that MultiVersus will return on May 28.
Along with the launch, our purchased skins during the beta phase will be returned to the inventory. The game had to stop to make the additional fixes, and many players are likely to escort its return.
As for the Overhaul, Tony, the game director, has revealed that the game has moved to Unreal Engine 5, which should improve the visuals, citing that “Shaggy’s sandwiches have never looked better.”
No matter the platform you’re playing on, the game’s improved netcode should provide a unique and smooth experience. One of the things they’re most excited about is the new PvE mode which will provide players with additional ways to play and offer unique rewards.
Oh, also, Marvin the Martian will join the roster of fighters. As per Tony, there are plenty more things to come, so stay tuned!
