Palworld encourages players to play other games while waiting for new content

A team member from the development crew of Palworld has recently suggested that players should feel free to explore other games while awaiting new updates for Palworld. The advice came from the game’s community manager, known as ‘Bucky’, who responded to concerns about the game’s declining player numbers by labeling such concerns as “lazy”.

Despite a decrease in daily players to approximately 500,000 from a peak of 2.1 million shortly after its launch, Palworld remains highly popular on SteamDB’s ranking of most played games. Bucky’s message on social media platform X emphasized that Palworld, a game that doesn’t frequently release new content, welcomes players to take breaks and enjoy other titles, assuring them there’s no need for guilt in game-hopping.

Bucky highlighted that the team is diligently working on resolving current issues and developing new content and characters for the game. He reassured players that taking a break from Palworld is perfectly acceptable and encouraged them to explore a variety of games, including indie titles, until Palworld is ready to offer fresh experiences.

Since its early access release on PC and Xbox the previous month, Palworld has quickly risen to fame, selling 12 million copies on Steam and attracting 7 million Xbox players by February 1. However, its success has sparked debates over its character designs’ similarities to those in Pokémon games, leading to scrutiny from both The Pokémon Company and Nintendo’s Shuntaro Furukawa regarding potential intellectual property rights infringements.

My goal is to deliver fresh news and updates, but most of the time I want to work on guides. Since I have rebooted this website, I am planning on making it huge. Just you wait!
