Since its initial reveal in December 2022, details about Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding 2 have been scarce, but recent rumors suggest that new information may be on the horizon.
A report from noted leaker Billbil-kun on Dealabs indicates that a fresh trailer for Death Stranding 2 could surface in the next two weeks. It’s speculated that this reveal might coincide with a State of Play presentation, a hypothesis bolstered by a photo of Hideo Kojima, the game’s director, editing a trailer, which emerged several months ago.
Moreover, it’s rumored that the upcoming showcase will reveal the game’s complete title. While initially presented as a working title at The Game Awards in December 2022, billbil-kun asserts that the game’s official name will be Death Stranding 2 – On the Beach.
As of now, specifics about the sequel are limited. However, it’s confirmed that Norman Reedus, Lea Seydoux, and Troy Baker will return to their roles from the original game. Newcomers Elle Fanning and Shioli Kutsuna will also feature in the ensemble cast.
