Set in 10th-century Iceland, the narrative follows protagonist Senua’s quest against the Vikings responsible for abducting her kin. A pivotal aspect of the game is Senua’s battle with psychosis, a theme that continues from the first installment. To accurately depict this, Ninja Theory has engaged in collaborations with mental health professionals and individuals who have firsthand experience with mental health challenges, aiming to represent Senua’s psychological journey authentically.
