Guild Wars 2 received a new update, bringing a lot of changes and improvements. This latest patch, detailed in the January 9 release notes, introduces a variety of enhancements and fixes, aimed at refining the player experience in Tyria.
The game’s user interface sees improvements with the addition of new options in the Contacts and LFG panel, including Rift Hunting & Convergences, and expanded categories for Living World Seasons 1 and 2. The patch also addresses several bugs, including the movement issue with Evon Gnashblade in the Escape from Lion’s Arch mission and display issues with the Mini Plush Cuckoo.

General
- Updated a tooltip that listed the incorrect value for astral acclaim rewarded by the daily Wizard’s Vault meta-achievement.
- Postprocessing options have been moved to a dedicated section in the Options menu’s Graphics tab.
- Fixed an issue that caused Evon Gnashblade’s movement to stall in the Escape from Lion’s Arch mission.
- The Contacts and LFG panel has been updated to include options for the following:
- Within the Secrets of the Obscure expandable category, a new option for Rift Hunting & Convergences has been added.
- A new expandable category for Living World Season 1 has been added.
- Each Season 1 chapter has its own option within the category.
- A new expandable category for Living World Season 2 has been added.
- Dry Top and the Silverwastes, the two explorable zones associated with Season 2, have their own option within the category.
- Fixed an issue that affected jade bot consoles in capital cities.
Items
- Fixed an issue that prevented the Mini Plush Cuckoo from being displayed in the preview window.
- Fixed an issue that prevented some transformation tonics from properly transforming players.
