7 Days to Die has received its V2.1 b7 update, focusing mainly on fixing bugs and adding a few new building components. If you’ve been playing and noticed some odd behaviors or exploits, this patch should smooth things out and add some fresh options for your base designs.
The developers, The Fun Pimps (TFP), have included some new wedge and ramp shapes in the shape menu, which will give players more flexibility when constructing. There’s also a new recipe for curtains and drapes, plus hanging logs to decorate or reinforce your structures.
One interesting addition is the XML conditional function called “has_entitlement,” which allows the game to check if a user owns a specific entitlement. This might open doors for more personalized game events or content in the future.
Several bugs have been addressed, including some exploits involving item swapping and perks, as well as an Xbox Series X/S lighting glitch. Players using ultra-wide monitors will be glad to hear that hazard screen effects now stretch properly in wasteland and snow biomes. Storm particles won’t fall inside POIs anymore, which was a bit odd to see before.
