The latest update for 7 Days to Die, version 1.4 b8, brings some necessary fixes while the development team continues working on v2.0. This update aims to rectify a few gameplay issues, including looping music and problems related to larger Points of Interest (POIs). It also introduces backend changes for Twitch integration, particularly concerning the upcoming deprecation of the “pub-sub” system.
If you want to participate in this experimental update, follow these steps:
- Right click on the game in Steam
- Click on properties
- Click the “betas” tab
- The drop-down menu will have latest_experimental available — you want THAT
- Select that and wait for the game to download
*As always we don’t expect this update to break anything, but recommend a new save to be sure.
In additional news, as we get closer to a solid build for v2.0, be on the lookout for Dev Stream announcements!
