Neosphere Interactive Studio has released a demo for its highly anticipated game, 1971: Indian Naval Front a third-person vehicular combat game based on the India-Pakistan war held in 1971. The demo is now available on Steam, with the full game set to release on April 5th.
1971: Indian Naval Front pays tribute to the Indian Navy and its contribution during the 1971 conflict. Players can control authentic naval units, including aircraft carriers, destroyers, anti-sub warfare frigates, and missile boats. Each unit is equipped with various weapons boasting different capabilities, allowing players to engage in missions based on actual operations such as attack, rescue, and stealth.
The game features immersive first-person weapon views, allowing players to operate 20MM and 40MM anti-aircraft guns, naval cannons, torpedoes, and missiles. Engage in aerial combat missions using Hawker Sea Hawk attack aircraft and Breguet Alize, featuring cockpit views and equipped with 20MM Hispano guns and alternate weapons such as bombs and rockets.
Players can also join the naval intelligence team, translating Morse-coded messages and progressing through levels. Control air squadron’s Seaking choppers to perform recon and anti-submarine warfare missions.
The story of 1971: Indian Naval Front focuses on the political tensions and military operations between East and West Pakistan, ultimately leading to the liberation of East Pakistan (now Bangladesh) as an independent country. The game allows players to experience various Indian Navy operations executed during the 1971 War.
With the demo out today on Steam, players can get a taste of the action-packed naval warfare and see if it fits their gaming addictions for when the game comes out.
