007 First Light Brings Its Spycraft to Steam Deck
After launching with Steam Deck's yellow Playable rating, IO Interactive's Bond adventure now carries Valve's green Verified status.
007 First Light is now Steam Deck Verified, giving players another way to take the latest James Bond adventure on the go. The status was announced through the game’s official Steam announcement on July 27, 2026.
The game originally launched with Steam Deck’s yellow “Playable” rating, meaning it could run on Valve’s handheld but might require players to adjust settings for steadier performance, according to DualShockers. The new Verified status provides a clearer compatibility recommendation for handheld players.
The announcement included artwork showing Bond’s adventure running on Valve’s handheld with the green Verified badge. That rating means the game has passed Steam’s checks for Steam Deck compatibility.
For players who prefer handheld sessions, this makes 007 First Light a more convenient option. The announcement also invited the community to share whether they plan to play the game on Steam Deck.
