The Yu-Gi-Oh TCG sim, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links, has been giving players different ways to duel online since 2016. However, the game isn’t really up to date with the current Yu-Gi-Oh card types, giving players an entirely different meta from the TCG. First, the game was based on the first Yu-Gi-Oh anime. Then we got a few more characters and monsters with the addition of the Yu-Gi-Oh GX series. After that, Synchro Monster Cards and more characters from the 5D’s anime were added, and now we’re getting Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal cards, coming September 29th.
The Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal anime introduced fans to XYZ Monsters and the XYZ summoning mechanic. We’ll also get Yuma, Bronk, Tori, Astral, and probably other characters from the anime, as well as new cosmetics, quests, events, etc. Players who’ll log in during the first days of the update will get Super Rare and Ultra Rare tickets to get new monsters, along with a few other things:
- 1 Skill Ticket for a character added before September 8, 2020
- 1,000 Gems
- SR Zubaba General (Prismatic)
- UR Gagaga Magician (Prismatic)
- Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal Card Sleeves
- Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal Game Mat
