Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel, the popular streaming star, recently revealed the staggering scale of his gambling activity on stream, showing that his total wagers have now surpassed the $3 billion mark. This update gives a rare glimpse into the sheer volume of bets placed by one of streaming’s most well-known figures, who continues to blend gambling into his content.
Gambling streams have been a divisive topic among streamers for quite some time. Twitch’s 2022 ban on slots and casino games streaming was welcomed by some who felt it was a step toward responsible content. However, other platforms like Kick still allow this type of content, and xQc has continued streaming on Kick with gambling segments, despite previous promises to quit.
After a brief break, xQc returned to gambling streams in late June, bringing renewed attention to this part of his broadcasts.
xQc reveals Stake wagers have passed $3.5 billion
During his June 26 stream, xQc shared detailed statistics from his gambling account, which has been active since early 2021. The numbers are eye-popping: over 1.3 million bets placed, totaling more than $3.5 billion wagered. Out of those millions of bets, about 1.2 million were losses, while approximately 128,000 resulted in wins.
It’s important to note these figures reflect almost five years of gambling activity on a single account and don’t specify total money won or lost overall. Back in November, xQc estimated his losses to be over $100 million, admitting openly, “I’m dumb, okay, so yeah, I gamble a lot.” His candidness about the risks involved is refreshing and gives some perspective on how he approaches this hobby.
Watching such enormous numbers can be a bit mind-boggling, right? I wonder how many viewers realize just how much money is moving through these streams. It’s a mix of fascination and concern, especially given the significant time and money involved.
