Xbox Insiders enrolled in the PC Gaming Preview now have a fresh tool to lean on while gaming: Gaming Copilot beta is available right in the Game Bar on Windows PCs. This feature aims to speed up your entry into the game, sharpen your skills, and guide you through tricky spots. It’s kinda like having a coach right there with you, but without pausing the action.
Gaming Copilot started out on the Xbox Mobile app, letting players use a second screen for help. Now, select Insiders get a more direct experience embedded into their PC gaming setup. The beta tracks your Xbox activity to tailor tips and advice just for you. You can ask for help on the game you’re playing, ones you’re curious about, or even about your Xbox account details like achievements and play history.
Gaming Copilot beta features include widgets you can pin to your screen and a Voice mode. This voice option lets you chat with Copilot while still playing, so you don’t have to stop the game to get help. Just hit the microphone icon on the widget and ask away whenever you’re stuck or need a tip.
Here’s a cool twist: when you ask for help using voice mode, Copilot takes screenshots of your gameplay. That way, it can give advice based on exactly what’s happening on screen instead of relying on your description. Pretty neat, right? Xbox Insiders using Windows Handhelds can also try the beta, though it’s a bit limited for now.
Right now, this early preview is limited to Insiders in certain regions. Curious if you qualify? Check out the full list here.
