Ubisoft and Xbox Game Pass are running 1V1 NOW by Xbox Game Pass, the franchise’s first official one-versus-one competition in a decade, as part of the 2026 Rainbow Six Siege esports season.
The tournament converts a format that began as practice into a full open circuit. More than 3.2k players registered across Europe/MENA, North America, Asia Pacific and South America. The top player from each region advanced to the live final phase at the Six Invitational in Paris.
Rainbow Six Siege is traditionally played as a 5v5 tactical shooter where Attackers try to defuse a bomb planted by Defenders and the first team to seven rounds wins. Ubisoft has run official R6 esports for the last ten years and the Six Invitational serves as the seasons culminating event.
For this first 1v1 edition the regional representatives are MlKE from NAL (North America), SelimShady from EML (Europe MENA), Lebyrinth from APL (Asia Pacific) and STK from SAL (South America). The four semi-finalists will arrive in Paris to compete for a share of a $5,000 prize pool.
The semi-finals are scheduled for February 14 and the grand final will take place on stage at the Adidas Arena on February 15. Matches will be available via the official R6 Esports and Xbox Twitch channels.
Watch on Twitch: R6 Esports channel and Xbox channel.
