Xbox Game Pass continues to expand its extensive library. This month, the platform will enrich its offering with adventure, city-building simulation, puzzle-solving, cooking, and even photography games. There’s no shortage of exciting releases, from the post-apocalyptic survival world of The Wandering Village to the culinary adventures of Venba. Here’s a detailed look at what’s coming to Xbox Game Pass this July and August.
New Additions to Xbox Game Pass
Techtonica is available immediately for cloud, console, and PC. In this game, you’ll construct factories on a bioluminescent alien planet, research new technologies, and mold destructible terrain. A co-op mode is available, too, so you can team up with friends.
The adorable adventure game, Toem, is also out today. Players set off on an expedition, using their photographic skills to unlock magical mysteries, interact with quirky characters, and explore a soothing landscape.
From the creators of Monkey Island and Maniac Mansion, The Cave is a beautiful adventure game allowing you to assemble your team of unlikely adventurers and descend into a world full of mystery.
What’s Coming Soon?
From July 19, gamers can enjoy the first-person recursive puzzle game Maquette, which allows players to explore an intricately designed world that is both incredibly large and minuscule at the same time. The world twists and bends in an Escher-like style, creating fascinating gameplay.
On July 20, Figment 2: Creed Valley, an action-adventure game set in the human mind, will be available. You’ll join Dusty, The Mind’s courage, as you navigate through puzzles, musical boss fights, and unique environments to quell the chaos caused by spreading nightmares.
The same day also sees the release of The Wandering Village, a unique city-building simulation game where you establish your settlement on a wandering creature’s back. The challenge is to form a symbiotic relationship with the creature and survive in a beautiful yet hostile post-apocalyptic world.
Joining the lineup later in the month is Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem, a new stand-alone expansion to the classic FPS series set in the wild lands of Russia. Lastly, Venba, a short narrative cooking game, will be available at the end of July. In Venba, players cook various dishes, restore lost recipes, hold branching conversations, and explore a story about family, love, and loss.
August 1 marks the return of Celeste to the Game Pass library, a super-tight platformer game where you’ll help Madeline survive her inner demons on her journey to the top of Celeste Mountain.

Regarding DLC and game updates, Naraka: Bladepoint is now free to play, with a Deluxe Edition upgrade available for all Game Pass members.
For the fans of MOBA, the newest League of Legends Champion, Naafiri, will be instantly unlockable on July 20. And there’s a new voyage on Sea of Thieves: The Legend of Monkey Island beginning July 20, which promises to be a hilarious and heartwarming tribute to the iconic adventure game series.
If you’re a horror fan, look out for the Dead by Daylight: Nicolas Cage DLC, available from July 25, which brings the legendary actor into the deadly trials of The Entity.
