Blizzard has partnered with Waze to add the voice of Xal’atath to the navigation app, letting the Harbinger of the Void narrate driving instructions for traffic, roundabouts, and motorway merges. The collaboration is detailed on the Waze blog.
The World of Warcraft official X account posted the announcement on February 19, 2026, writing “Who *wouldn’t* want the Harbinger of the Void giving you directions?” and linking to the new Waze feature.

Players who opt in can replace the standard car icon with a Blue Dragonhawk. Waze users can also choose a navigation “mood” set to either Light or Void, which changes how the app displays to other drivers. For a more grounded option, Blizzard added a Thrall voice as an alternative to Xal’atath. The Waze blog post explains the partnership and provides details on how the voices and visual options appear inside the app. The feature arrives as the Midnight expansion approaches.
