Hey everyone! WWE 2K25 is finally coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 this month, and that’s a big deal for wrestling fans who want to play on the go. After missing out on the original Switch, this new release brings the whole game experience to Nintendo’s improved handheld console, including all the cool modes and DLC. Let’s get into what you can expect!
As the Switch 2 is carving out a better reputation for third-party games compared to its predecessor, it’s been running titles like Cyberpunk 2077 and Yakuza 0: Director’s Cut pretty well. Now, WWE 2K25 joins that lineup, giving fans a chance to wrestle anywhere starting July 23rd.
Initially launched in March, WWE 2K25 has been praised despite some pay-to-win elements, especially in the new Island mode. I’ve had a blast playing it on other platforms this year, and I’m honestly excited to revisit it on Switch 2. Imagine taking those epic matches with you on the bus or couch!
WWE 2K25 Launches for Nintendo Switch 2 on July 23rd
According to 2K Games, the Switch 2 version will include the full set of game modes. That means you get the 2K Showcase focusing on the Bloodline Dynasty, the Island interactive world, MyGM, MyFaction, and more. You can enjoy offline modes wherever you are, and if you have internet, go into into all online modes too. That’s pretty sweet for a portable console, right?
The game will be available in three editions on Switch 2:
- WWE 2K25 Standard Edition: Priced at $69.99, includes the Wyatt Sicks Pack.
- WWE 2K25 Deadman Edition: $99.99, adds the Deadman Edition Bonus Pack, a Season Pass for post-launch DLC character packs, and 15,000 VC.
- WWE 2K25 The Bloodline Edition: At $129.99, this one comes with the Ringside Pass, The Rock Nation of Domination Pack, the Bloodline Edition Bonus Pack, 32,500 VC, and the WrestleMania 41 Pack.
The recent DLC has been wild, too. Not only do you get wrestling legends like Abyss and The Great Khali, but NBA stars such as Shaquille O’Neal, Tyrese Haliburton, and Jalen Brunson are part of the Dunk & Destruction pack. That’s a crossover I didn’t expect, but I kinda love it!
