World of Warcraft’s upcoming Midnight pre-patch will include a way to report objectionable decorations in player housing, according to a post shared on X. Housing is scheduled to begin Early Access on December 2, and the in-game reporting option looks ready before launch.
Player Housing in Midnight gives people a lot of freedom with furniture and trophies. Blizzard appears to expect some players will push that freedom into territory others find offensive, so developers have added an option labeled “Inappropriate Decor Placement” that you can submit along with a screenshot. The report option was spotted by MrGM. Blizzard also has a preview site where you can take a virtual tour of potential homes, which may help you plan before Early Access starts on December 2. You can try that via Blizzard’s virtual tour preview site.

The history of clever uses of in-game tools in World of Warcraft suggests some players will test the boundaries. Whether reports will lead to warnings, temporary suspensions, or simple moderation of housing listings is not detailed in the post. If you plan to decorate wildly, keep in mind that other players can flag your content for review. That might change how people arrange trophies and furnishings once Housing is live.
