World of Warcraft Shadowlands Season One Starts Tomorrow

Starting on the US servers (12.07.2020) and carrying onto the EU (12.09.2020) on Wednesday, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands officially starts its brand new journey by approving the start of the first season. The start of the first season opens the gateway to Mythic+ dungeons, ranked PvP, and the long-awaited heroic raid, Castle Nathria. With that on our way, let’s dive deeper into the details.

Players will finally have the possibility to dress their characters in a more authentic gear with a higher item level. The mythic loot scales from item level 200 (Mythic Keystone +2) to item level 203 (Mythic Keystone +15). The weekly chest will provide a maximum of 226 item level for successful completion of 14+ during the previous season. The more +14 dungeons you do, the bigger the choice will be from the Great Vault (chest).

Wowhead has already shared the Mythic+ drop table, and you can find what item level drops at the particular M+ difficulty.

Keystone Level End of Dungeon Weekly Great Vault
Mythic 2 187 200
Mythic 3 190 203
Mythic 4 194 207
Mythic 5 194 210
Mythic 6 197 210
Mythic 7 200 213
Mythic 8 200 216
Mythic 9 200 216
Mythic 10 203 220
Mythic 11 203 220
Mythic 12 203 223
Mythic 13 203 223
Mythic 14 203 226
Mythic 15 203 226

The PvP will also be bolstered with rewards but will be uncapped starting from 12.15.2020. More on that was shared in a recent bluepost, in which Blizzard discovers how exactly the PvP will develop.

Mythic Keystone dungeons and ranked PvP are opening with the beginning of Season 1 tomorrow, and there are a few aspects of the first week of the Season to highlight.

During this first week of Mythic Keystone dungeons, there is a cap on the increase of item level of end-of-run loot. That loot will stop increasing at Mythic Keystone +10 for this first week, which is item level 203. However, the Great Vault will be uncapped the following week, and loot from the Great Vault (on December 15 in this region) will reflect successful completions achieved during the week of December 8. The Great Vault will award item level 226 for completing Mythic Keystone +14, and other completion item levels can be viewed in the Mythic Keystone tab of the Dungeons and Raid window once the season begins.

For this first week of the Season in PvP, item-level upgrades of Conquest equipment are capped at item level 220, requiring Rival (rank 4). Starting with the second week, (again that’s December 15 in this region), item level upgrades of Conquest equipment are uncapped. There are no caps on the Great Vault’s PvP considerations. Duelists (rank 5) or higher will receive item level 226 equipment from the Great Vault.
