World of Warcraft Mists of Pandaria Classic Sees First Level 90 in Under 3 Hours!

Samdxdx beats competition by 2 minutes to hit level 90 fastest in MoP Classic.

Speed runs in World of Warcraft never fail to amaze me, and the race to level 90 in Mists of Pandaria Classic is no exception! The first player to reach max level did it in less than 3 hours, narrowly edging out the competition by a mere 2 minutes. If you thought leveling was a slow grind, this might make you rethink that, especially when players get this fast!

Close Finish for the Top Spot

At first, everyone thought Lmgd1, who famously snagged the first level 85 in Cataclysm Classic, had the win again. He was grinding elites and getting summoned all over the place to speed things up, and for a while, he was even declared the winner. However, after double-checking the data and API logs, it turned out that Samdxdx actually took the crown by about 2 minutes, reaching level 90 in just under 3 hours.

Watching these players blitz through entire zones and quests is wild. It’s like they’re in a different game altogether. Ever wonder how they do it? The coordination, the route planning, the summon timing, it’s all nuts.

If you want to see the last moments of this epic leveling race, Lmgd1’s Twitch video shows the final ding with all the summons included. It’s pretty intense, and you can almost feel the adrenaline as the timer ticks down. Honestly, it’s impressive that these players managed to get so close. Just 2 minutes difference after nearly 3 hours of grinding? That’s some serious dedication and skill. Makes me wonder who’ll break this record next time. What do you think about these speed levelers? Could you keep up, or would you just get lost in Pandaria’s beautiful scenery?
