CD Projekt Red has confirmed The Witcher 4 will not present any new content at The Game Awards next month, even though the game is nominated in the Most Anticipated Game category. The nomination puts The Witcher 4 up against heavy hitters like Marvel’s Wolverine and Grand Theft Auto 6, but fans should not expect a trailer, gameplay reveal, or any surprise segment from the studio during the broadcast.
Joint-CEO Michal Nowakowski posted on X to thank people who voted for The Witcher 4 and to set expectations for the night. The post reads in part:

The Witcher 4 first showed up in public with a trailer at The Game Awards last year, and the team later offered a behind-the-scenes look at the State of Unreal showcase this summer. For context on the game’s recent hires, the studio added over 60 developers in August and brought on Kingdom Come Deliverance 2’s lead gameplay designer earlier this month. There is still no announced release window for The Witcher 4.
